We have put together lists of frequently asked questions, rules, and suggestions for the community. We will update this section from time to time as common questions arise. If you still have questions after reading this page, go to the Cafe and reply to the help discussion.

FAQ

• I have my own blog/website, can I promote it? Yes and no. You may link to and write about your website on your profile. You can add an RSS feed of your blog to your profile. You can use your site's logo as your profile picture. You may blog about your website if it is something of interest to fans and not just a shameless plug. You may link to your website in forum discussions if it is relevant to the topic. You may NOT start forum discussions about your website. Spamming your website in blog posts, forums, comments, or chat will get you banned.
• I found some interesting news on a different site, can I make a blog post or discussion about it? You bet. Just don't copy the article word for word. Quoting a few sections is ok . Adding your personal opinions and comments is always good. You should also link to the original article to thank them for their hard work.
• How do blog posts get featured? We go through recent posts and if a post would be of interest to the community we feature it.
• How do I stop all those annoying emails from Coffin Cafe? Go to "Settings" on the right column, then "Email". Uncheck all the email notices you do not want to receive.
• How do I add friends? To send a friend request to someone, go to their profile page. Click the "Add as friend" link under their profile photo.
• How do I get text to wrap around a picture in my post? When you upload a picture, in the pop-up window click the "Options" link. Check the box for "Wrap text around image?" and pick left or right.

Suggestions

• Use descriptive titles for blog posts and forum discussions. For example, "Robert Pattinson Pictures" is better than "Look Here".
• DON'T USE ALL CAPITAL LETTERS.
• Questions like "Who is your favorite werewolf?" will get a better response if you make it a forum discussion instead of a blog post.
